The B&B La Ida is located in a modest house in the center of the town, just a few steps from the main square, overlooking the main street and extending at the back. With its shared courtyard, La Ida creates a cozy and familiar environment; the small courtyard, where the rooms on the first floor overlook, becomes an outdoor living room during the summer months. The balcony seems to embrace the guests, enticing them to stay in a comfortable accommodation. In the past, it was used to provide separate entrances for the numerous families living there, one of them being "la Ida"! Visiting her was always a celebration... the small courtyard (huge in my eyes as a child) felt like a market square... the blacksmith worked here alongside the butcher; rabbits coexisted with chickens, and the dog with the cat... and my grandmother Ida, with her haberdashery, which resembled more of a living room than a shop, where friends gathered to chat, do crochet work, or mend stockings! The idea of creating a B&B here is to breathe new life into a house rich in stories, characters, and emotions. Inside the Bed and Breakfast, you will find my world: the architecture studio and a corner dedicated to DIY and the passion for painting.
