Kaló Rooms is located in the heart of Tropea, on the first floor of a 1970s building with elevator access, just a short distance from the historic center and the train station. The establishment features three rooms, each with a private bathroom, a small terrace, and an Alexa voice assistant, making it perfect for couples or family stays. The rooms are named ’U Mari Picciulu, ’A Rotonda, and ’U Cannuni, paying tribute to some of the most iconic beaches in the city, all within easy walking distance.
The B&B was created out of a desire to breathe new life into the grandparents' home, transforming it into an authentic welcoming space, meticulously cared for by Francesco, a young Calabrian deeply connected to the sea and his homeland. In addition to managing the property, Francesco works daily along the coast and is happy to share tips and advice for discovering the true essence of Calabria.
Just 500 meters away is Piazza Vittorio Veneto, bustling with bars, restaurants, and local shops, ideal for a stroll that leads to the panoramic viewpoint of the Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell’Isola, an unmistakable symbol of Tropea.
