Casa Maria in Jucunda Sicilia is a vacation experience located in one of the picturesque alleys of Modica Alta, on the ground floor of a historic building. This place was renovated in 2022, but it used to be an old "putia" for wine, a meeting place for the workers of the city of Modica. Here stories, sayings, and anecdotes were told while sitting around a table where a bottle of wine, bread, and cumpanagghiu (company) were always present. Today, this ancient putia has been transformed into a comfortable and welcoming 33sqm vacation home, furnished with style and everything you need for an unforgettable vacation.
Upon entering, on the left, there is a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, stove, and a breakfast area. In the center of the room, an extendable table can accommodate up to 6 people. Under the mezzanine, there is a comfortable sofa bed and a beautiful sideboard to store groceries. Finally, also under the mezzanine, the bathroom has been created with a large shower.
