In 2014 I decided to open a B&B to accommodate those who need to stay in a comfortable and spacious structure, located halfway between Verona and Vicenza, in the historic Soave area. I am passionate about cinema, literature and long walks on the hills where the "Soave Classico" and "Recioto di Soave" wines are produced.
For its history, its monuments, its food and wine production and for the nearby communication routes (Regional Road 11, A4 Milan-Venice Highway, Milan-Venice Railway), the Soave area is the third Verona hub of tourist interest after the city of Verona and Lake Garda. It is an ideal reference point for those who want to enter the most beautiful living garden in Europe to discover culture, landscapes and food and wine.
From Monteforte d'Alpone you can easily drive to Verona (25 km, 15 minutes with the motorway), Lake Garda (50 km, 30 minutes with the motorway), Vicenza (30 km, 20 minutes with the motorway), Padua (65 km, 45 minutes with the highway). The famous Gardaland park, located in Castelnuovo del Garda, can be reached in 30 minutes by highway. The tollbooth of the A4 Milan-Venezia motorway (Soave/S. Bonifacio exit) is 3 km from Monteforte.
Verona, Vicenza and Padua can also be reached comfortably by train from San Bonifacio station, which is 3 km from Monteforte. It takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes to get to Venice by train with a fast Regional.
