The Vichiaccio is a Country House located near San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the heart of Chianti. It is passionately and carefully managed by Beatrice. The Vichiaccio enjoys a splendid position, immersed in the countryside and surrounded by the vineyards of Chianti Classico. Florence is reachable in just 20 minutes.
For this reason, it is an excellent base to visit the city without having to deal with chaos, traffic, and costs. We are particularly attentive to our motorcyclist guests, to whom we offer special discounts and a range of dedicated services.
Sant'Angelo is a spacious apartment located in the main part of the farmhouse, where the owners also live. It extends over an area of ??135 square meters on two floors and consists of a spacious kitchen with a wood-burning fireplace, 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms, for a total of 9 beds (+ 3 extra beds for children, if necessary). The apartment is equipped with a kitchen with a 5-burner hob, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a stereo system. In addition, the entire apartment is covered by free Wi-Fi connection.
Outside, for the exclusive use of guests, there is a garden adjacent to the house and a large barbecue. From the garden of Sant'Angelo, you can enjoy a splendid view of the vineyards of Castello di Gabbiano.
For our guests, we offer the entire apartment (with use of the kitchen) or 3 separate rooms:
- IL CORTILETTO: a spacious quadruple room (25 sqm) with an en-suite bathroom.
- IL BALLATOIO: a triple room (21 sqm) with a private bathroom in the hallway, for exclusive use.
- IL VICOVECCHIO: a double room (19 sqm) with a private bathroom in the hallway, for exclusive use.
All the rooms and outdoor accommodations have been restored respecting the architectural style of typical Tuscan farmhouses.

"Il Vicovecchio" is a large double room on the first floor of the farmhouse. The total area is 19 square meters. It has a wardrobe and can be added at no extra cost an extra bed for children. The bathroom, at the exclusive use of the room, is located in the corridor next to the entrance door of the room. Is possible to use the kitchen, shared with the other guests, to prepare by yourself breakfast, lunch and dinner.
"ll Ballatoio" is a large triple room on the first floor of the farmhouse. The total area is 21 square meters. It has a double bed and a single bed, and you can add with no extra cost an extra bed for children. The bathroom at the exclusive use is in the corridor, very close to the entrance door of the room. Is possible the use the kitchen, shared with the other guests, to prepare by yourself breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pets are welcome
"ll Cortiletto" is a large quadruple room on the ground floor of the farmhouse. The total area is 25 square meters. It has a double bed and two single bed and you can add with no cost an extra little bed for children. The large bathroom is inside Is possible the use the kitchen, shared with the other guests, to prepare by yourself breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pets are welcome
Il Fienile is an holiday house, built in a rural ancient building, with an exclusive views of the vineyards of Chianti Castello di Gabbiano. Built in the 17th century and originally used as a barn, has been lovingly restored by the owners with love and attention to the respect of the Tuscan rural tradition. Equipped with all you need for everyday life, with a large living room, it is ideal for hosting groups up to 7 people (5 adults + 2 children). It consist in: a double bedroom, a triple bedroom with double bed and single bed and a sofa bed for two people in the living area. Il Fienile has a private garden that surrounds the house on two sides overlooking the beautiful vineyards of the Chianti Castello di Gabbiano Wine Estate, a patio, a barbecue, table for outdoor dining and a heated jacuzzi at exclusive use of the guests. The holiday house Il Fienile is therefore the ideal place to relax after a day discovering the beauties of Chianti and Tuscany. The total 7 places are disposed in: 2 bedrooms A sofa bed for 2 in the main living room.
Country House “San Angelo” for 9/11 people Sant’Angelo is a 135 sqm flat in the main building of the farmhouse. It features a kitchen fitted with a warm and traditional fireplace and 3 bedrooms, each one with exclusive bathroom. A large garden, with an heated Jacuzzi, is at exclusive use of the guest of the San Angelo house. A private parking for 3 cars, football field, tennis table, children area complete the property. On request, with an extra cost, we will add a 4th bedroom. Baby cotts are available for free.
Let me introduce myself, I am Beatrice, 55 years old. I have spent more than two decades working for a renowned sportswear brand. Along with my husband, with whom I shared the desire for a countryside home to live in and raise our children, we purchased and restored the delightful village of Vichiaccio in 2001 over the years.
We dedicated time with love and passion to choose the materials and furnishings, trying to respect the tradition of the Tuscan countryside house as best as possible. We searched for furniture and objects in the characteristic antique markets of the area.
Our thirst for adventure and discovery of new places and people led us to open the doors of our home to visiting guests.
I love reading, watching movies, taking long walks, and practicing yoga. My husband, on the other hand, is a passionate cyclist.

Situated along the road between Florence and Siena, just 20 minutes from the city of Florence, thanks to its privileged geographical position, it is an ideal starting point to explore the wonders of Chianti Classico, the charming art cities and picturesque historic villages such as Impruneta (famous for its Tuscan terracotta), Greve in Chianti (the capital of Chianti Gallo Nero) and San Casciano VP, a beautiful fortified town that was long disputed between the duchies of Florence and Siena.
About 110 km away is the enchanting Tyrrhenian coast, with the famous seaside resorts of Castiglioncello, San Vincenzo and Livorno.
