Tino's Dream is an ancient residence located in a palace dating back to the 1700s; certainly one of the oldest structures in the village of Cabernardi. Always owned by the Caverni family, the building is situated on the main street with a view of the family's land at the back. The basement was dedicated to wine production, as evidenced by the ancient and imposing wooden press. The two upper floors were used as the main residence.
In the first half of the last century, during the economic boom of Cabernardi caused by mining activity, a part of the ground floor was designated for commercial activities. After the closure of the mine in 1956 and the subsequent depopulation of the village, the residence was gradually abandoned.
In the 1980s, it was in a state of decay when one of the heirs, Tino, began the first restoration works. In 1991, Tino disappeared and the palace remained empty. Three years ago, his daughter Loredana and her nephew Sergio started the works to transform it into an accommodation facility.
