The establishment is run by the Mignolli family. Alessandro has always been very active in the Florentine tourism and hotel industry and, after finishing his studies, he decided to follow his grandfather's suggestion to become a "small entrepreneur" like he did in the leather sector in 1960.
Thus, with the help of his family, Alessandro began his journey in the tourism sector in December 2006/January 2007 after finding and renovating an apartment and establishing Il Salotto Di Firenze.
In December 2019, after almost 13 years, Alessandro and his wife Francesca decided to work together and founded their company, Difirenze Sas Di Mignolli A. & C. The company specializes in leisure and tourism rentals. The commercial division called "Difirenze: Guest Houses & Apartments" includes Il Salotto Di Firenze and another apartment called "Difirenze-Apartment".
We are just a few steps away from the central Piazza San Giovanni and Piazza Duomo where the famous Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo) with its Giotto's Bell Tower can be found.
All major attractions are within walking distance and we are happy to assist our guests with reservations for the Uffizi and the Accademia.
