You will find three spacious double rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom and independent entrance.
The breakfast room is located next to the porch and overlooks a delightful and peaceful garden, where you can enjoy peace, privacy, and a hospitable and friendly atmosphere.
During the summer months, you can also cool off and relax in the pool.
With just a 5-minute drive, you can reach the center of Spello, and in just 2 minutes, you will arrive at the train station.
Il Portico is, therefore, an excellent starting point for visiting the most important cities from an artistic and cultural point of view in the area, such as Assisi (just 13 km away), Norcia (65 km), Perugia (30 km), and Gubbio (60 km).

The morning starts with a delightful selection of hot beverages, such as milk, coffee, and tea, along with various fruit juices. You can also enjoy a typical sweet treat lovingly prepared by us, or delicious sandwiches to be filled with butter, jam, chocolate, or honey, all served in individual portions.
The scenic town of Spello is located on the gentle slopes of Mount Subasio, offering a magnificent view of the fertile Umbrian plain. Situated halfway between the historic and artistic cities of Assisi and Foligno, Spello is a place of Roman origins boasting impressive walls dating back to the time of Augustus, considered among the most beautiful in Italy.
However, the true charm of Spello lies in its captivating town, with its medieval streets, staircases, arches, and glimpses of rare beauty. Here you can also admire extraordinary works of art created by two famous Renaissance masters: the frescoes by Pinturicchio in the Baglioni chapel of the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, which also houses two paintings by Perugino; and in the Church of Sant'Andrea, an enormous work by Pinturicchio.
Spello is renowned worldwide for the Infiorata, an event that takes place every year on the first Sunday after Corpus Domini (this year on June 10th). During this engaging manifestation for the entire community, the streets of the town are decorated with petals and local flowers, creating colorful and intricate "paintings" depicting sacred themes.
