Welcome to the enchanting "Podere della Strega", a charming residence dating back to the late 17th century, recently renovated with great care to preserve its original features and ensure maximum comfort for its guests. Set amidst a vast olive grove, this lovely place offers a unique and incomparable view of Siena.
Inside, the furnishings have been carefully curated down to the smallest detail, with a predominance of traditional furniture that creates an authentic atmosphere. In addition to the six comfortable bedrooms, you will find two cozy lounges, a dining room, and two kitchens where delicious breakfasts will be prepared. On the right side of the house, there is a spacious pergola where, during the beautiful season, you can enjoy breakfast, while on the left side, there is also the "Villa la Strega", which can be booked separately.
In front of the house, immersed in greenery and among the olive trees, there is a splendid infinity pool with saltwater, from which you can admire a breathtaking scenery.
The six bedrooms, as well as the common areas, have been painted with pastel colors that recall the shades of the Tuscan countryside. The rooms are located on two floors of the farmhouse and can be double or twin. Upon request, a free cot can be added for children up to approximately 3 years old. The property also offers parking and free Wi-Fi.
The "Podere della Strega" enjoys a privileged location and offers a unique panorama: in fact, it is located on the hill facing Siena, which can also be reached on foot in just 30 minutes. The interiors are tastefully furnished and each room is decorated with different colors. Outside, in addition to the wonderful pool surrounded by a well-kept lawn, you can find pleasant corners where you can admire the view of the city and breathe a relaxing atmosphere.
Breakfast with us is served at a single table, both indoors and outdoors during the beautiful summer season. It is a continental breakfast, but with exclusively Tuscan typical products. Letizia's delicious homemade jams are often accompanied by exquisite cakes and croissants prepared by herself. In addition to local cured meats and cheeses, we also offer eggs, yogurt, fruit juices, and seasonal fruits. During the summer, we delight our guests with fresh produce from the garden, harvested every morning, which are the basis of our tasty smoothies.

Our five guest rooms have been beautifully decorated in varied color palette inspired by the local countryside, as well as the communal areas on both floors of the property. The rooms, situated on the ground floor and the first floor of the former farmhouse can be prepared as double or twin bedded rooms. On request, a baby cot for children up to approx. 3 years can be added.
Letizia is an elegant Tuscan woman, with impeccable taste and great culinary skills. She will be delighted to welcome you to her recently renovated family home.
As a true Sienese, Letizia will be able to guide you to the historical and scenic places of interest in both the city of Siena and its surroundings. She will recommend typical restaurants, the best wineries, and during the days of the Palio, she will immerse you in the frenetic atmosphere that surrounds Siena.
It is she herself who prepares and serves breakfast every morning, often enriching the table with delicious freshly baked cakes.
Mrs. Letizia speaks French discreetly and has long promised to study English, however, she manages to make herself understood very well. Furthermore, she is almost always accompanied by Antje and Viola, who are true language experts (especially Antje!).
Thanks to the enchanting green landscape that surrounds us, there are numerous scenic routes to explore on foot, by bike or even on horseback. This area, in fact, is considered one of the most fascinating in the vicinity of Siena, offering the opportunity to discover wonderful and surprising villas and churches. Within a short distance, you will also find farms and wineries where you can delight your taste buds with tastings of fine wines, as well as excellent trattorias and high-quality restaurants.
