The Pignocco Country House is an ancient farmhouse located on top of a hill overlooking the delightful village of Santa Veneranda, from which you can admire the sea and the city of Pesaro. Our family became the owners of this wonderful property back in 1952 and since 2009, my sister Francesca and I have decided to open the doors to guests eager to experience a unique tourist experience. The name of our residence, Il Pignocco, comes from a majestic tree that fell during a storm back in 1925. Inside our Reception, you can admire three black and white photographs of this famous tree. From generation to generation, a fascinating legend has been passed down: right here, in front of our Country House, there was a gigantic pine tree that was almost 50 meters tall! It is said that sailors arriving from the sea used this imposing natural tower as a reference point to orient themselves before disembarking. And now here we are, in place of the sea lighthouse, with our farmhouse boasting a tower, a barn, a swimming pool, ancient olive trees, and a great passion for hospitality.
