Discover the enchanting village of Cafaggio, nestled at the foot of the hills of the Etruscan Coast, and experience authentic emotions, Tuscan tradition, and relaxation at Il Pievano, a small family-run bed and breakfast. Our B&B was born out of our passions: antiques, various objects, and natural dyes. After renovating the building, believed to be of Lombard origin, we decided to share it with our guests, offering them the opportunity to stay in the region of the Etruscan Coast and immerse themselves in local traditions and uniqueness. Il Pievano B&B has 5 rooms, each with a private bathroom equipped with a shower or bathtub and a hairdryer. In each room, you will find air conditioning, wooden floors, handmade Tuscan terracotta tiles, hypoallergenic pillows and mattresses, and satellite TV. The furnishings are unique and different for each room, but all strictly vintage: grandmother's wardrobes, finely hand-carved beds, stone sinks, and decorative accessories born out of research and passion. All of this creates a unique, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. We personally renovated the structure, preserving and enhancing its original architectural elements. Inside, you will find wooden and handmade terracotta floors, exposed stone walls, authentic furnishings, and high-quality finishes, all carefully designed. We chose to follow the style of the main house not only in terms of decor but also with colors and settings, so that our guests feel welcomed by the family like an old friend. The B&B garden is a small corner of peace where you can relax and enjoy nature just a few steps away from all the comforts. There are several areas, each offering a different experience during the day. You can have breakfast on the terrace admiring the garden, sunbathe on the natural lawn, rest in the shade of the magnificent lime tree on a hammock, appreciate the scents and colors of our small vegetable garden, watch the stars among the olive trees and ancient roses before going to sleep. But our garden is above all the beating heart of our craftsmanship activity, FOGLIE D'ETRURIA. In fact, it is here that you can take advantage of the opportunity to learn about the dyeing properties of plants through one of our Natural Dyeing and Eco-printing Courses or observe the various stages of the process.
