This Bed & Breakfast came about almost by chance. Initially, the building under renovation was supposed to become our new home. However, during the demolition of the plaster dating back to the '40s and '50s, beautiful granite stones carved by the hands of my father and grandfather emerged, who had built that house many years ago. I decided, therefore, to share this emotion with my guests and transform the structure into a Bed & Breakfast.
The imperfections that characterize this B&B are both intentional and unintentional. In fact, many works were planned and executed personally. These "defects", however, are for me strengths that tell my story as a self-taught person. I have learned to immerse myself in the shoes of many artisanal categories that enhance the Italian people.
Furthermore, the walnut tree that overlooks the window is an Italian tree planted in the '50s. It represents an ornament and a pleasant company when sitting on the terrace to enjoy the typical breeze of Valsabbia, which descends from the valley in the morning and returns in the evening.
The breakfast we provide includes an espresso coffee machine with espresso, decaf, and macchiato coffee pods.
In addition, we offer a hot water kettle with a wide selection of teas and herbal infusions. To accompany the hot drinks, we serve empty croissants, with jam or chocolate. Fruit juices, soy milk, easily digestible milk, and mixed fruit yogurts are also available.
To enrich the breakfast, we offer single portions of Heinz jam in glass jars, honey, chocolate cream, and whipped cream, along with crispbread. We also offer seasonal fruits and mixed fruit cups.
For those who prefer cereal, we provide Corn Flakes.

Hello, my name is Roberto and I am a professional chef with 28 years of experience. I gained my expertise mainly among the hills, shores of the lake, and the city of Brescia. However, I spent a few months in a wonderful place, the City of Lovers, working in a restaurant in the courtyard of Juliet's House in Verona. Each place I worked at contributed, in its own way, to telling the culinary culture and city life of the area. Among the most important, I remember La Quiete by Renato Simoni in Manerba del Garda, which was a pioneer in catering with "La Romantica". Renato Simoni was a person of high human stature and excellent welcoming warmth, unfortunately deceased.
I also worked at Trattoria del Cav Raoul Porteri, which represents the oldest gastronomy of Brescia, at the Ristorante Fior di Roccia near the port of Dusano, and at Trattoria AL Frate of the Zane family. Moreover, I spent a year at Trattoria di Antonio D'Amico, life partner of Gianni Versace, where I tasted his memorable durum wheat orecchiette.
I also had several work experiences on my own, including "Sapori di Corte Bondeno" in an 18th-century farmhouse in Sabbioneta, a name I coined in 1990, and "Dolce Stil Novo" in S. Felice del Benaco in 1996.
Now, my energies are focusing on the realization of "Il Noce alla Finestra" B&B, which is available for the summer season for those who want to spend a few days on Lake Garda. You can ride a bike, as a famous song says, or take the boat from the dock near Salò (3 km) for a romantic trip between the shores of Lake Garda and along the roads plowed by the 007 film.
Roè Volciano is a small town that overlooks Lake Garda. Despite being less well-known than other towns in Valtenesi, its strategic location makes it an excellent choice for spending summer holidays. Here, guests can plan any type of program without having to face the typical chaos of more famous tourist resorts.
Roè Volciano is located just 3 km from the beach of Salò, 300 meters from the entrance to the ring road that leads to the city in just 20 minutes, 20 km from the Brescia Est highway entrance to reach Gardaland, Caneva and Movieland, and an hour and a half drive from Passo Croce Domini, where you can go hiking in the mountains up to over 1800 meters.
Our B&B is also strategically located for shopping, being only 200 meters from the most important shops in the shopping center. Furthermore, it is only 500 meters from the exit of the Brescia/Idro ring road, 4 km from the city of Salò, 4 km from the public beach of Salò, 30 km from the Montichiari trade fair center, 28 km from the city of Brescia and 90 km from Madonna di Campiglio.
