The guesthouse "Il Mondo di" is located right in the historic center of the city, in a strategic location close to the main places of interest. Along the same street, you can find the Ciac, the Italian Center of Contemporary Art, and the district of the Sanctuary of Santa Angela da Foligno and the Church of San Francesco. Walking along Via del Campanile, you reach the Le Scale di Porta Romana shopping center, where you can go shopping, and in front of it is the Campo de li Giochi where the Giostra della Quintana takes place in June and September.
If you leave the guesthouse and reach Porta Romana, you will find the tourist office, the Gonzaga Barracks, and the train station, which is also the main stop for intercity buses and taxis. Crossing the internal garden of the building, you reach Corso Cavour, the heart of Foligno. From there, you can walk to the main squares of the city, the Cathedral of San Feliciano, Palazzo Trinci, and many other historical and artistic monuments. In addition, there are cafes, restaurants, and shops for every need.
To leave the historic center, just follow Viale Roma by car and take the first exit at Foligno Est, which leads south to Rome, north to Perugia, or towards the sea on the SS 77 Foligno - Civitanova Marche. The location of the guesthouse is therefore really convenient for exploring the city and also for reaching other destinations.
