Welcome to our B&B! I am Giorgia, an architect, and together with my family, we have made our dream come true of living surrounded by nature, without giving up the comforts of a town. Our place is spacious and roomy, perfect for couples and families looking for a relaxing vacation in close contact with nature and as a starting point to discover the beautiful region of Piedmont.
We desired a country house, large and surrounded by greenery, with a story to tell. The structure dates back to the 19th century and was used as a farmhouse and blacksmith's workshop in the 20th century. It was a place where people lived and worked simultaneously, a reference point for the local community. Thanks to these characteristics, the building is known in the village as "Il Martinetto," and the adjacent street is named "Via del Martinetto." The main part of the building is the oldest, recognizable by the brick cornice. Over the years, it has undergone several modifications, some of which did not respect the original style but reflected the trends of the time. Thanks to my profession as an architect, the renovation was guided by seeking a balance between the rustic features of the structure and a modern design, thus creating a comfortable and functional home that respects its history.
The rooms in our B&B are inspired by the natural elements surrounding the structure. Each room has a private bathroom with an independent entrance, ensuring maximum privacy for our guests. Each room is uniquely and characteristically furnished.
In our B&B, you will be welcomed by me and my family, consisting of three people and three pets. If you wish to bring your pet with you on vacation, you are welcome! We are equipped to accommodate your four-legged friends as well.

The colour blue has always been associated with water. Like water, it symbolises calm, tranquillity and balance. Blue, which is positioned between Green and Indigo in the light spectrum, has the ability to generate a sense of relaxation that brings balance to the emotional sphere. The Blue room is the smallest, with a double bed and a sofa bed. This is the space we dedicate to younger couples or families of up to three people.
The sun is the frame of every beautiful day that is about to begin. It wakes us up with its light, warms us with its warmth and thrills us at sunset. Every shade of this colour enhances our mood and naturally connects us with positive thoughts. The name of the room picks up on the yellow of the sun precisely because ours is a very bright and sunny house. In the room there is a double bed and there is the possibility of adding another bed. The Yellow room is the one with the most whimsical taste because it has experimental furnishing solutions: it has a bed made from pallets, the bathroom mirror is made from a motorbike tyre. The lighting in the room has been done with outdoor lights to recreate a special brightness inside. The room is ideal for three adults.
Green is the colour that ties in with the wooded aspect of the area surrounding the house. Moreover, the colour has a very positive meaning. It is often used to represent good fortune in the general sense of the word, and its symbolism refers to total balance, harmony and love. The room has a double bed and a bunk bed, and is equipped to accommodate a person with disabilities. There are no barriers for a wheelchair. The furnishings have been chosen to create the right mix between modern and rustic, with a pure linearity and essentiality without additional elements that weigh down the spaces. The green room is the largest, ideal for a family or a group of friends.

The Martinetto B&B is located in Cantarana, a charming and peaceful village surrounded by the green countryside of Asti. This marvelous place is the perfect base to explore a variety of fascinating destinations, easily accessible by car. In less than 20 minutes, you can reach Alba, Govone, Colle Don Bosco, Asti, and in just 30 minutes, you'll be in Turin. The location of the B&B will allow you to discover picturesque villages such as Roatto, Maretto, Cisterna, Tigliole, Cortandone, and Cortazzone. Additionally, in the surrounding countryside, you will find numerous farms and renowned trattorias known for their typical Piedmontese cuisine, appreciated by both locals and tourists.
