Our Bed and Breakfast is part of a delightful villa surrounded by spacious terraces, immersed in the enchanting scenery of the Vesuvius National Park. It is the ideal place for travelers who want to spend a different vacation, without sacrificing comfort. From here, you can reach the center of Naples, with its timeless history and beauty, its museums and countless works of art. You can stay near the city, but away from the daily stress, immersed in the tranquility of the Vesuvius National Park.
We will welcome you warmly and with friendship, as our structure is family-run. You will be accommodated in two comfortable rooms, each with its own private bathroom. The furnishings are simple yet functional, carefully designed down to the smallest details and perfectly in harmony with the surrounding atmosphere. The bathrooms have been recently renovated and are for the exclusive use of guests.
We pay special attention to cleanliness and hygiene, both in the environment and in the linen.
Breakfast is always included in the price of your room, a delightful moment to savor local specialties. The typically Mediterranean breakfast offers a variety of options, including tea, coffee, latte, yogurt, fruit juice or freshly squeezed, biscuits, croissants, toast, butter, and jam.
Usually, you can enjoy breakfast in the dining area of our spacious lounge. During the summer, weather permitting, you can also enjoy breakfast in the garden, in the shade of the charming gazebo.

The Bed and Breakfast Il Lapillo is located in Ercolano, in the province of Naples, in the San Vito area, at number 6/A of Via Arena San Vito, in the heart of the Vesuvius National Park. Our establishment is just a few kilometers away from Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi, and not far from Capodichino airport.
To reach us, you can follow the following routes:
- By car, coming from the south: exit at Ercolano, continue straight at the roundabout and take the first right. Continue straight until the intersection, where you need to turn left onto Via S. B. Cozzolino. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers, past two intersections, and at the third one immediately after a newsstand, turn right onto Via S. Vito. Continue for about 80 meters, after a gas station, turn right onto Via Arena San Vito. Follow the road for about 600 meters and you will find the B&B Il Lapillo on the left.
- By car, coming from the north: take the Ercolano A3 motorway exit and continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach a roundabout. Here, make a U-turn, as if going back, and continue straight for 700 meters until you reach a large roundabout. Take the exit in front, continue straight for 50 meters and at the intersection, turn onto Via S. B. Cozzolino. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers, past two intersections, and at the third one immediately after a newsstand, turn right onto Via S. Vito. Continue for about 80 meters, after a gas station, turn right onto Via Arena San Vito. Follow the road for about 600 meters and you will find the B&B Il Lapillo on the left.

In the surroundings of Ercolano and the Vesuvius National Park, starting from San Vito, the road that leads to Vesuvius begins, passing through the Vesuvius Observatory and the lava deposits from the eruption of 1944, until you reach the foot of the Great Cone.
Ercolano is crossed by the Golden Mile, with its sumptuous noble residences from the early 18th century: Villa Favorita, Villa Aprile, Villa Campolieto, which are worth a visit! As for the Ercolano Excavations and the millennial history that can be felt, any other word is unnecessary; it will seem like traveling back in time and ending up in a distant era.
