I had always wanted to open a B&B and in 2012, when I had the opportunity, I didn't think twice and we completely built the structure to suit the needs of our guests. This included a bathroom in every room, which I consider essential, televisions, internet, high-quality air conditioners (Daikin) in every room, and a large breakfast room where we can get to know our guests over breakfast. In order to please our guests, we decided to build a large swimming pool (6 x 12 meters) and offer it for free use, as well as bicycles. The large parking lot in front of the property allows our guests to park their cars without wasting time and, above all, without having to pay.
Breakfast is served in a dedicated panoramic area inside the B&B. To the north, the Tyrrhenian Sea can be seen, while to the south, the Nebrodi Mountains can be admired. Guests can enjoy a variety of delicacies such as croissants, pastries, biscuits, butter, jam, Nutella, fruit juice, coffee, cappuccino, tea, and various cakes. These are just some of the treats that can be savored at the B&B Il Girasole Capo d'Orlando. For those who prefer a different breakfast than the traditional Italian one, it is possible to request ham, eggs, cheese, fresh bread, and more.

My name is Monica and I am the owner of the B&B Il Girasole Capo d'Orlando, which is a new establishment that I manage with my family members including my husband, two children and brother, Ferdinando. I work as a teacher in a kindergarten and I have a great love for children (having two of my own), dogs (I have a beautiful labrador) and fashion.
The B&B Il Girasole Capo d'Orlando is located outside the city center, but at the same time only a three-minute drive from the Town Hall or the waterfront. In the morning, we wake up to the chirping of birds and in summer the temperature is always a few degrees cooler than that of the city center. With just a 40-minute drive, you can reach Cefalù, and in one hour and 15 minutes, you can arrive at Taormina, Etna or Palermo. From the port of Capo d'Orlando, hydrofoils depart for the Aeolian Islands, which can be reached in less than an hour.
