The only available room at the "Il giardino sul lago" bed and breakfast, located southwest, is situated on the second floor of the building.
This spacious and independent room from the rest of the house consists of a sleeping area, equipped with a comfortable double bed with the possibility of adding an extra bed or a crib for children, and a living area with a multilingual library. There is no television or air conditioning.
The room is particularly bright thanks to the large arched French doors that overlook the lake. Outside, a lovely terrace offers a spectacular view of the San Giulio island and sunsets over the lake.
The bathroom, complete with a bathtub/shower and double sink, is directly in the room.
During the beautiful season, breakfast is served outdoors, while in winter, it can be enjoyed in a large room with a cozy fireplace.

To refresh yourself, you can sip on fresh fruit juice, orange juice, or a healthy fruit and vegetable smoothie. And to finish, you can savor a selection of fresh fruit or a colorful fruit salad.
If desired, cheeses, cold cuts, and eggs will also be available upon request for an even more substantial breakfast.

Our charming bed and breakfast, "The Garden on the Lake," is located right in the heart of Orta San Giulio.
Orta Lake, defined by the prestigious magazine "New York Times" as the secret gem of the Northern Italian lakes, is a hidden corner that has so far been spared from mass tourism.
Friederich Nietzsche wrote that this place has the power to change lives. In fact, in his masterpiece "Thus Spoke Zarathustra," he dated the work "Von Orta an," meaning "from Orta onwards."
Orta San Giulio is an authentic artistic and historical jewel; walking through its streets, it is easy to discover medieval traces, sometimes blended with later Baroque elements. Palaces and gardens are adorned with splendid wrought-iron gates.
The historic center can only be explored on foot, offering a relaxing experience without the noise of cars. On Piazza Motta, the bars and restaurants offer breathtaking views of the lake and the island of San Giulio.
Behind Orta stands the Sacred Mountain, a site declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
