The sisters Mara and Elide continue the story with the B&B, bringing to light the house where their ancestor Respicio Olmeda was born. He was a Garibaldi volunteer who went down in Italian history for writing the famous telegram "I obey" dictated to him by Commander Giuseppe Garibaldi in response to King Vittorio Emanuele's order to retreat. This event is commemorated with a plaque placed on the facade of the house. Mara, an architect, has taken care of the structure and furnishings, creating the mosaic that will welcome you at the entrance of the house and restoring the handmade furniture made by her grandfather Lodovico, already a "Cavaliere del Lavoro" (Knight of Labor), an honor recognized with a diploma from the Masters of Florence for inventing wooden sanding blocks. Elide, always an operator and responsible in the tourism sector, takes care of logistics and guest reception.
