The B&B "Il Bel Giardinetto" is located in Bogno, a charming village surrounded by the greenery of the municipality of Besozzo, in the province of Varese. Its strategic location, halfway between Lake Maggiore and Lake Varese, makes it the perfect corner to spend a peaceful summer vacation.
At the B&B "Il Bel Giardinetto", you can enjoy a pleasant outdoor swimming pool that overlooks the entire structure. This B&B is housed inside a villa dating back to the 1920s, which was renovated in 2006, keeping its original and authentic characteristics intact.
Two rooms are available on the first floor: the green room and the blue room, both equipped with a private bathroom. The rooms are furnished in a simple and modern style, with elements that create a welcoming and familiar atmosphere. You will also find antique wooden furniture that perfectly matches the parquet floor.
The green room is equipped with a comfortable double bed, a chest of drawers, a wooden desk, and a private bathroom with a shower. The blue room offers a spacious walk-in closet, a large double bed, and the possibility to add a third bed, making it perfect for three people. A crib is also available upon request. The private bathroom, with its dominant blue color, has a bathtub and two sinks.
The price of the room includes bed linen, towels, and Wi-Fi coverage. Guests have free access to the terrace on the first floor, which overlooks the pool and offers an ideal place to relax or enjoy a snack. There are no common areas, but guests have access to a refrigerator on the ground floor.
The highlight of this bed and breakfast is definitely the heated outdoor pool, located in the center of a charming green garden, rich in plants and flowers.
The garden and the pool are available to guests. Around the pool, you will find comfortable sun loungers, a table, and chairs, perfect for enjoying an aperitif or a drink in the relaxing atmosphere of the garden.
The property is located along a private driveway and has two parking spaces reserved for its guests in the property's parking lot.
Please note that pets are not allowed. Firstly, Sylviane, the owner, has a cat, and secondly, the garden is not completely fenced, so it is not suitable for animals. For any needs or special requests, please contact Sylviane directly.
The room rate includes a delightful breakfast prepared by Sylviane, using organic and local products. You can enjoy it on the ground floor terrace, savoring the view, or in the dining room in case of bad weather.

The blue room is a spacious double room with a bed in 160, overlooking the pool and offers the possibility of an extra bed. The room is equipped with a fan and a tea set. The bathroom is spacious and private and outside the room. It has 2 sinks and a bathtub, it is also equipped with a hairdryer. Bath linen is provided. A terrace is at your disposal on the same floor for your moments of relaxation and / or a small snack. Wi-Fi is available in this room!
Sylviane, the kind owner, manages her charming bed and breakfast with great professionalism and care. Thanks to her extensive linguistic knowledge, she always manages to make guests feel at home. The B&B "Il bel Giardinetto" offers a familiar and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for couples or families looking for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. Sylviane, originally from France but now a resident of Italy for 35 years, lives in this green villa. When her children grew up and became independent, the villa offered unused spaces that Sylviane decided to transform into rooms to accommodate travelers from all over the world. From that moment on, she left her job as a restorer to devote herself completely to this accommodation facility. Sylviane and her husband live in the villa together with the guests, welcoming them as if they were in their own home. During the summer, many foreigners, especially Belgians, French, and Dutch, choose to stay here for periods of at least one week, while in autumn, Italian tourists are not lacking, taking advantage of a weekend to explore the beautiful Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore.
The "Il bel Giardinetto" B&B is strategically located just 1 km from the center of Besozzo, near the train station that connects Milan and the bus stop that goes to Varese, the beautiful "Garden City".
The bed and breakfast is only 2 km from the charming Lake Maggiore and 3 km from Lake Varese. Sylviane, the kind hostess, will always be available to provide guests with advice, information, and suggestions about local attractions. She knows the best restaurants and bars in the area, as well as contacts for bike rentals or booking exciting horseback riding or paragliding excursions.
The towns of Monvalle, Ispra, and Leggiuno are just a few kilometers away from the B&B: in a few minutes by car, you can reach the enchanting Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso in Leggiuno and the beautiful beaches of Ispra, Reno di Leggiuno, and Guree di Monvalle.
In Ispra, you can also walk along the panoramic "Walk of Love" that winds along the lakeshore, with suspended walkways over the water. Trekking enthusiasts can integrate it into the fascinating "Fornaci Ring," a hiking trail of about 5 km that offers the opportunity to admire the ancient lime kilns still present in Ispra.
Just 13 km from the B&B, you can visit the charming Rocca Borromea in Angera and Villa Della Porta Bozzolo, a refined noble residence from the 16th century surrounded by a marvelous baroque garden.
Finally, about 20 km away, you will find Laveno Mombello: from here, ferries depart that connect Verbania, a picturesque Piedmontese town, to the Borromean Islands and the main tourist destinations on the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore.
