A few years ago I converted the flat of my parents, Gianpietro and Rosetta, great lovers of the Italian Dolomites, into a holiday home. This flat had always been occupied only a few days for our family's holidays, so I thought it was time to make it available to new guests all year round. This not only made it possible to keep it alive, but also allowed many of our guests to make beautiful memories in breathtaking scenery. In fact, the flat is located in one of the most beautiful places in Italy: Monclassico in the beautiful Val di Sole.
From 1 January 2016 the municipalities of Dimaro and Monclassico become the municipality of Dimaro Folgarida. In Monclassico the border of fruit farming crosses. In 2002 an interesting project was launched to make Monclassico the village of artistic sundials. Since then, contemporary artists of national and international renown have created five sundials on the outside walls of buildings and houses in the village every July, and today there are 50. In 2008 Monclassico opened its first biolago in Trentino: a natural open-air swimming pool, purified by aquatic plants and microorganisms, with ample space for games and recreation.
