The structure is located in the Umbrian countryside, near Narni, in a peaceful and secluded position that allows you to enjoy the peace of the countryside. It offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, including mountains, hills, valleys, and the Albornozian Fortress. The house has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to seven people. It is available for short stays from April to October, without additional services.
My name is Giuseppina Modoni and I live in Narni, in the wonderful region of Umbria, famous for its enchanting green landscapes.
My passion for country life has been passed down through generations, since the times of my great-grandmother, from whom I inherited my name. Towards the end of the 1800s, she lovingly managed her farm in the countryside of Ferrara.
My family has roots in both Emilia and Romagna, a combination that makes our history unique and fascinating.
The love for agriculture and the countryside was passed on to her two sons, Antonio and Luigi, both experts in the agricultural sector.
In the 1930s, my grandfather Antonio decided to move from Bologna to Narni with his family to manage a large farm.
My father, Fausto, grew up immersed in country life from a young age, surrounded by animals such as dogs, cats, his beloved little donkey Marco, and horses, his greatest passion.
He studied at the "Scarabelli" Agricultural Institute in Imola, obtaining a diploma as an Agricultural Technician. He then dedicated his work as the manager of a farm with great passion and dedication.
From him, I inherited the passion for the countryside, respect for the environment, and love for animals, principles that guide my philosophy of life.
He taught me that the countryside requires commitment and dedication, but also offers intense emotions, satisfaction, and valuable life lessons.
Today, I take care of part of my great-grandmother's properties, but my main activity is looking after the country house where I live.
My days are spent among mulberry trees (which give their name to my residence), oaks, olive trees, holm oaks, and cypresses, creating a typical Umbrian scenery. With love, I dedicate myself to enriching the landscape with flowers, especially roses, but also lavender, broom, and geraniums.
The peace and tranquility I feel in taking care of the countryside are incomparable.
Recently, I have transformed a house on my property into a vacation home, where I would be happy to host those who, like me, love to enjoy the serenity and beauties of the sweet Umbrian countryside, just a few steps away from the medieval center of Narni.
