I am a female entrepreneur in the agricultural sector, aged 46, a mother and a cook.
I completed my studies in agronomy at the State University of Milan, Faculty of Agriculture.
During my journey, I also fulfilled the valuable role of being a mother.
I lived for 3 years in a rural and mountainous area of Colombia, in the North of Cauca.
Upon my return in 2011, I began a collaboration in Galbiate with a social cooperative, working in the agricultural field to integrate disadvantaged individuals. This experience lasted for 7 years.
Since 2018, I have been employed at the I Gelsi farm in Cernusco Lombardone and, as of April 1, 2020, I became a partner along with Liliana Rota.
Currently, I manage the agritourism, focusing primarily on the agricultural aspect of the vegetable gardens and orchards. Additionally, I have learned to handle the transformation of our products into preserves, juices, jams, and dishes for the company restaurant.
Area hills
The farmhouse is located in the beautiful Montevecchia Natural Park and the picturesque Val Curone, in Brianza Lecchese. This enchanting place offers numerous opportunities for pleasant walks, bike rides, or horseback riding (you will find stables less than 200 meters away).
The location of the farmhouse is tranquil and relaxing, yet easily accessible. You can conveniently reach us by train (on the Milan Lecco Sondrio line), with the station just a 5-minute walk from the farmhouse. Alternatively, you can also arrive by local buses or by car, thanks to the proximity to the East Ring Road and the Milan/Venice highway.
