The restaurant "Da Pode", which opened in the 80s, is a reference point for the family that runs it. The initial success has allowed for expansion with the Sovestro Hotel and the Sovestro Estate. The founding values ??are quality, simplicity, tradition, and elegance. The restaurant, located in a former stable, offers three cozy dining rooms and a panoramic terrace.
The cuisine is typical Tuscan, with recipes handed down from four generations and prepared by Chef Mamma Lucia. The dishes include cured meats, ribollita, pici, Florentine steak, porcini mushrooms, truffles, and saffron. The pasta is homemade and the meats come from local suppliers. The location is ideal, close to San Gimignano but away from the tourist crowd, with ample parking and open even in winter.
The family management sees the mother in the kitchen, Barbara in the dining room, and the father Sergio taking care of various roles, including preparing the beef tartare at the table. The menu varies seasonally to guarantee fresh and local ingredients, offering dishes such as stuffed artichokes in the spring and porcini mushrooms in the autumn.

Sergio and his wife Lucia, along with their parents, made the decision to invest in the farmhouse inherited from their grandfather back in 1985, giving life to the renowned restaurant Da Pode.
Thanks to the great success achieved, in 1994 the family decided to embark on a new project in the hospitality sector, inaugurating the first part of the Hotel with a total of 18 rooms and a splendid swimming pool.
Throughout the 2000s, driven by the desire to always offer the best to their guests, the structure was expanded to reach a total of 40 rooms, equipped with two marvelous swimming pools and a gym for the well-being of the guests.
