Built in 1880, in the heart of Veneto which became part of Italy only fourteen years earlier, the Frizzolan hotel takes its name from Frizzolana, the original name of the area which also included the present-day municipality of Erbezzo. In 1501, the construction of the Ecclesia Nova on ancient sacred foundations led to the rebirth of the place as Chiesanuova, until in 1621, the separation from the neighboring areas established the municipalities of Bosco Chiesanuova and Erbezzo.
