Our breakfast is a unique and delightful experience, served in the charming common room on the ground floor, fully furnished with antique wood. Our rich buffet includes a variety of delicacies, including two types of bread (white and whole wheat), homemade cakes, both plain and fruit yogurt, muesli and corn flakes, artisanal jams, fresh seasonal fruit, milk, coffee prepared both in a coffee maker and with a filter, a wide selection of teas and herbal infusions, fruit juices, sugar, and honey from our neighbor's local production.
For those who desire it, we also offer a savory breakfast option, with local eggs, ham, and cheese. However, please inform us in advance of your preference for the savory breakfast, as it is included in the standard room price but requires specific organization.
It is important to emphasize that all our jams are carefully made by Karin, using mainly fruit from our family orchards. In the preparation of the jams, we only use fresh fruit and traditional white sugar, without thickeners or sugars with added pectin.
Usually, we offer a variety of jam flavors including peaches, apricots, strawberries, cherries, plums, apples, oranges, apples and kiwis, figs, pear, and medlar. The morning cake can vary between the famous Sacher (a chocolate cake with apricot jam), the typical apple and almond cake from the area, and during the summer, a fresh fruit cake. Other options include tartlets with cherries or plums, cakes made with chestnut flour and walnuts, cakes with carrots and oat flakes, and the most recent addition, a rhubarb cake. All our cakes are made with fresh eggs from our family-raised hens.
Upon request, we are able to prepare breakfasts suitable for people with celiac disease, ensuring a tasty and gluten-free experience.
