The GiòEl Guesthouse is located in a historic building dating back to the early 20th century.
The entrance is completely independent and it has 6 rooms that can accommodate from 1 to 5 people. There is a living area with a kitchen where breakfast is served, private parking, and, during the warmer months, a spacious fully equipped outdoor terrace.
All the rooms have been completely renovated and offer ample bright spaces with modern and functional furnishings. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, kettle with a selection of teas, herbal teas, and coffee, digital TV, and free Wi-Fi connection.
The GIO'EL Guesthouse has been recognized as Bergamo Charme as it is located within a small industrial complex dating back to the early 20th century, which has been restored and transformed into a residence. Our property occupies the original caretaker's house of the metalworking factory located on the ground floor, of which you can still admire the typical industrial architecture with multiple spans. It is the only example of its kind in the entire city of Bergamo.

Even in the early morning, at GiòEl, you can enjoy a delightful breakfast that will make you feel at home. Here, the familiar atmosphere is expressed through the attention given to the environment and the selection of products offered at the buffet.
Every day, from 08:00 to 09:30, a rich buffet breakfast will be served with a selection of natural products from small local farms. You can enjoy homemade jams, honey, yogurt, cakes and cookies, fresh bread, ham, cheese, eggs, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit juices, and fresh fruit.
If necessary, upon request, we also offer the possibility of a "gluten-free" breakfast for celiac guests. Additionally, for those who need to leave the hotel before 08:00, we propose a "pocket breakfast" to be comfortably enjoyed in the room.

Since I was a child, I have dreamt of working in the exciting world of tourism. The longing to travel and discover the wonders of different countries, while appreciating their unique differences, has always been in my heart. For a good 20 years, I had the privilege of working in a travel agency, crafting tailor-made itineraries for all kinds of groups.
This experience allowed me to travel extensively, personally accompanying the groups I had taken care of. In doing so, I was able to understand the needs and desires of tourists and business people when it comes to their hotel stays. I have endeavored to convey all these small gestures and details in my bed and breakfast, making it a welcoming and functional place.
The Giòel Guesthouse is located in the heart of Bergamo, in close proximity to two charming historic villages that characterize the lower city and just a few minutes away from the access roads to Città Alta.
The strategic position of the establishment is one of its strengths: from this central location, it is possible to walk to the main monuments of the city, shopping streets, the train station, the urban bus station, and the train/metro that connects the city to the Seriana Valley.
Furthermore, just 1 kilometer away, there is an important road junction that connects the city to the ring road for the Bergamo Valleys, the airport, and the Milan/Venice highway.
