Il Giardino degli Aranci

Modolo is the smallest village in Sardinia in terms of territorial extension, as it covers an area of just 2.47 square kilometers. However, its municipality also qualifies as one of the smallest in Sardinia in terms of resident population, as it is inhabited year-round by only 150 people. The village - home to exquisite cherry production and the renowned Malvasia di Bosa DOC wine - is surrounded by lush orchards, olive groves, and expansive vineyards, including the Silattari estates and those of the Porcu Brothers. Modolo is a tranquil and ideal place for rest, but also for the concentration required for work. Nestled in a year-round green valley, its picturesque settlement is located in the heart of the historical Planargia region, just 4 km from the medieval village of Bosa and its beaches. These can be reached via a scenic road that caresses the countryside.
