The Garden of Cork Oaks is a rustic farmhouse dating back to the 19th century, surrounded by olive trees, cork oaks, and aromatic plants. Its renovation was carried out with completely natural products, following principles of sustainability and waste reduction.
Each room has a private bathroom, a spacious shower with a relaxing jet, and a small window overlooking a breathtaking panorama. The furniture, inspired by traditional country style, has been revisited with delicate colors and hand-decorated by skilled local artisans.
During the renovation, we chose to use only natural materials, such as organic lime, which is antibacterial and anti-mold. To be self-sufficient in terms of energy, we installed a photovoltaic system. Furthermore, we adopted a rainwater harvesting system for our water supply, with specific purification plants. These choices are fundamental for us as they represent our concrete commitment to respecting the environment.
Wellness also involves the senses, such as sight and touch. For this reason, we have favored neutral and hypoallergenic colors for the walls, avoiding silicone paints, and we have selected natural fabrics, such as pure linen, for the curtains, blankets, and towels. The furnishings of the farmhouse have been designed and handmade by a skilled artisan, who has reinterpreted and modernized the style of the old Maremma.
Our establishment offers a plentiful breakfast that you can enjoy either on the enchanting veranda or in the picturesque garden, as well as in the comfortable common room. The breakfast is carefully prepared using local products from surrounding farms. You can savor the classic Italian breakfast, with pastry cakes, cookies, tarts, and delicious homemade jams. To make a moment of relaxation on the porch overlooking the sea even sweeter, you will have homemade cookies and seasonal fruit at your disposal.

If you are new adventurers in Maremma, we will do our best to give you the best advice on all the activities and non-activities that will allow you to rediscover the pleasure of relaxation: both the "active" one (practicing sports, trekking, sailing, horse riding, golf) and the "beneficial" one (absolute rest without any activity).

We would be really happy if, at the time of your departure, you would like to suggest and leave a personal storybook for those who will stay in the same room after you. The Tuscany Golf Club in Gavorrano and the famous Golf Club in Punta Ala, located on the hills along the coast, are true gems for golf lovers. You cannot miss the opportunity to play on these professional 18-hole courses!
If you are passionate about horse riding, you can venture on a pleasant horseback ride in the Maremma. Just 5 km from the farmhouse, there is a riding school where you can experience this unique experience.
Sailing At the port of Scarlino, you will have the opportunity to rent a motorboat or sailboat and take a magnificent tour of the Tuscan archipelago. A very suggestive itinerary is the visit to the island of Elba in one day.
Trekking There are numerous less frequented trails that wind through the sea, hills, and coast. A route that we often recommend is the one that starts from the port of Scarlino and reaches Cala Violina, following the coast through the forest. Another beautiful excursion is the one that goes from Punta Ala to Rocchette, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire coast.
