The B&B Giardino34 was opened in June 2018 inside a building dating back to the late 19th century. This structure housed part of an ancient convent of the Church of San Pellegrino Laziosi and later became the property of the Fabbri Family in the early 20th century. Even today, the family still lives here. Grandfather Antonio Fabbri, starting from 1920, owned racehorses used for transporting people and carriages. In the city, the building is known as "stalattico" because it offered temporary shelter for carriages and horses of travelers from other cities. Even now, it is possible to admire the horse stables with their typical double-opening doors, which have been preserved and are still recognizable.
The Fabbri family has always had the pleasure of hosting artists and even today, one of the premises overlooking our enchanting garden is home to Matteo Sbaragli, a young painter from Forlì. Meanwhile, the garden is lovingly cared for by Anna, the lady of the house, whom you will have the opportunity to meet as you stroll through the lawn and the barn. Inside our B&B, the love for art has given rise to a decoration of spaces that allows the meeting between our tourist guests and the local artists of Forlì. You will be able to admire Eleonora Guidi's "Submerged Horizons," her painted sculptural works; "the Room of Stars" or "Secret," where you can discover the details of Massimo Baldini's works; "the Room of Giants," with portraits and icebergs painted by Matteo Sbaragli. Finally, the living room is embellished with the artistic creations of Anna and Lisa.
Our B&B is located right in the city center, but fortunately just outside the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), in an ideal position for tourists. Moreover, we are situated in the heart of the university district, which means you will be surrounded by a young and lively atmosphere. To give you an idea of the location, the Roberto Ruffilli library is right in front of our establishment, while the administrative offices are right next to the library. Additionally, the study rooms, also known as "teaching hubs," are easily accessible by foot, either through the corridors of the administrative offices or by taking a short 5-minute walk in the campus park.
