Porto Sant'Elpidio, a city of about 26,000 inhabitants, extends in the center of the Marche along the Adriatic coast for about 7km. A beautiful promenade lined with meadows, and a beautiful pine forest, make this city an ideal place for holidays. A cycle path connects the neighboring municipalities, such as Porto San Giorgio and Lido di Fermo, which can be easily reached by bike. Not far away, there are numerous municipalities to visit, I mention only a few, such as the enchanting Torre di Palme, the provincial capital, Fermo, to visit Piazza del Popolo, the Sala del Mappamodo, a civic library that boasts 3 centuries of history and the ancient Roman cisterns of 40 AD, as well as the cathedral located in the highest area of ??the city, with a spectacular view to say the least.
