Fiesole in Giardino B&B is a family-run establishment, perfect for guests seeking peace and nature just 7 km from the heart of Florence. Nestled on the charming hill of Fiesole, a small town steeped in history, the B&B is located about 800 meters from Piazza Mino, from where you can reach central Florence in just 20 minutes by bus.
The family residence, typically Tuscan in style, was built by local stonemasons around the 1700s, starting from a farmhouse that dates back even further. There are two accommodations available for guests, both fully independent and furnished in rustic Tuscan style. The first is a newly renovated ground-floor apartment with a private outdoor area and a table with chairs in front of the house. The second is a suite on the first floor, featuring a living room, air conditioning, and a panoramic rooftop terrace.
Additionally, the B&B boasts a large garden at the back of the house, enhanced by ancient olive trees, a well-equipped area, and the option for small car parking. Breakfast, made with fresh, typical Tuscan products, is served on the panoramic terrace during the summer and mid-seasons, weather permitting. Upon request, it can also be served in the room or the winter lounge.
Fiesole in Giardino B&B offers tranquility and nature, all within a short distance from the center of Florence!
During the summer months, breakfast is served on the terrace, allowing you to enjoy the view while surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Tuscan countryside. You can choose between a traditional Italian breakfast featuring fresh pastries, fruit tarts or apple pie, Tuscan bread, jams, yogurt, and fruit, or you can add a sampling of fresh local Tuscan products such as cured meats, cheeses, or bruschetta.
All of this is complemented by a good coffee made with a traditional moka pot, caffellatte, tea, or juice, depending on your preferences. It's a breakfast that combines authentic flavors with an unforgettable view.
Welcome to Fiesole! My name is Cristina, and I love sharing the beauty of this place where I was born and raised with guests. Fiesole is a small town steeped in ancient history, filled with museums that preserve remnants of the past, and it is home to the enchanting Roman Theatre, renowned for its events. Here, you can also explore beautiful Medici Villas and stroll along charming streets that offer unique views of Florence and the surrounding valley.
I would be delighted to recommend the best places to visit, walks to take, and restaurants where you can savor local cuisine. As someone passionate about ceramics and handmade crafts, I will also point out small artisan shops, local markets, exhibitions, and fairs, both in Fiesole and nearby Florence.
I enjoy making my guests feel at home by welcoming them with carefully arranged little details, surrounded by vibrant or calming colors, and offering a variety of breakfasts so you can taste the many typical Florentine specialties.
I look forward to seeing you!
