The Fattoria Capobianco Agriturismo is made up of two farmhouses: the Main Farmhouse, where our family's apartment and three guest apartments are located, and the second Farmhouse, about 80 meters away, with independent access and capable of accommodating up to 9 people. These farmhouses have been renovated in the local style and are perfect for welcoming couples, groups, and families, as they have independent kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Fattoria Capobianco is located in Montefiascone, in the heart of Tuscia, an ancient medieval village overlooking Lake Bolsena, on the border between Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio. The structure was designed to create an experience of peace and tranquility in an area rich in tourist attractions. We want to introduce tourists from all over the world to the beauty of our territory, where we were born and raised with our children. The view from the panoramic terrace, overlooking the green valley and the Cimini mountains, will leave you speechless. Around Fattoria Capobianco, there is a small family-run self-sufficient farm that produces natural and certified organic products such as EST! EST!! EST!!! wine (from a vineyard over 50 years old, in front of the farmhouse), extra-virgin olive oil, and many vegetables, seeds, and grasses to feed the farm animals. The main purpose of the educational farm is to combine technical and scientific information on food production and processing with passionate testimony of local rural life. In this way, we want to enhance the importance of consuming traditional and organic products, preferably at km 0. We are also very attentive to the environment: we use renewable sources such as photovoltaic for the production of electricity, solar thermal for hot water, and biomass for heating. For the restoration of farmhouses, we have chosen natural and eco-sustainable materials such as stone, brick, wood, and iron. We have created a small ecological island for separate waste collection, and vegetable waste is composted or given to farm animals. In addition, we have installed BAT BOXES, which are shelters for bats, to facilitate biological defense against harmful insects. Geese and turkeys, on the other hand, clean the vineyards of pests every day.
