B&B Porto Sole

Davide and I are from Elba, we have chosen to stay on the island and to raise our children here. When you are born in a place like Elba, you can only be grateful. It is not easy to give up its natural beauty, the colors of the sea and the Mediterranean maquis, the different light and scents in every season, the magic of slower rhythms in certain moments of the year which can strongly influence perspectives. As often happens in small communities, even on Elba the complex laws of sociality and human relationships have a more direct and frugal figure and hospitality has always been a marked characteristic of our families of origin. The idea of ??Porto Sole was born this way, from the desire to create something that didn't exist, a place that was home for any type of traveller, even for the most unconventional and always looking for authentic experiences. Our rooms have a private bathroom and a wonderful sea view, they are spacious and different from each other. From April to October we serve a varied but traditional Italian breakfast with fresh products purchased in the village. Since June 2021 we have opened Soggiorno Marconi, it is a suite with a small kitchen and a balcony overlooking the sea, a few steps from the white beach of Ghiaie. It is a very comfortable and ideal solution for long periods. The location is also excellent for those without a car and on the ground floor there is a room for the laundry and for storing bikes, scooters and small scooters.
