Fornesighe, the old village that will welcome you, is made up of old houses, articulated, the result of the passing of life, overlooking the Dolomites. Here you can enjoy a simple but authentic room, a dive into the past, and a breakfast room with a spectacular window. Only Dolomites in your eyes!
The village is made up of old wooden and stone houses, with a unique architecture. It is a quiet place to rest and experience the Dolomite nature. If you are looking for this for your mountain vacation, we are waiting for you in Fornesighe in Val di Zoldo at Dormì&Disnà, an inn with Bed and Breakfast service and a small restaurant "nona giò", open only in the evening.
The rooms, all in an old building from the 1600s, the result of careful restoration, are different from each other, each with its own personality and history. The names are those of those who have lived there. All our apartments are the result of a careful restoration, ancient and modern blend and offer a comfortable, authentic experience of other times.

You will wake up in front of an incredibly beautiful view and be accompanied by sweet classical music in the background. And then, breakfast! We have chosen to define it as Mediterranean because we believe it is important to offer what is part of our culture and tradition. On our table, you will find a homemade cake (and if you are vegan or have celiac disease, let us know and we will prepare a dessert for you), yogurt, muesli, flakes, fresh fruit (often served as fruit salad), apple juice, at least two types of bread, homemade jams and even packaged ones, fresh eggs from organic farmers. If you prefer something savory, just ask and we will be happy to satisfy your requests.
The restaurant "Nona Giò" - Starting from June 2023, the restaurant will have new owners: Jasmeen and Giuseppe. He is a chef, she is a pastry chef and baker. They met in Copenhagen, where Giuseppe acquired new cooking techniques and Jasmeen specialized in sourdough bread preparation. When they decided to return to Italy, they found in Fornesighe and Nona Giò the ideal place to put their experiences and enthusiasms into practice. In their menu, which will vary depending on the availability of local products and seasons, you will find typical dishes from the entire Veneto region, with fresh fish from the lagoon, meat from mountain butchers, and vegetables from small local vendors.
Guests of Dormì&Disnà can take advantage of a 20% discount on a menu of at least two courses per person, while those staying in an apartment and choosing the catering service will have a 10% discount. Please note that the discount is not valid for drinks and cover charges.

The living area has a fully furnished kitchen in modern brick, with a large table for 8 persons and the sofa bed (for 2 people). We are like an old house that has been lovingly restored and enriched with a touch of modernity. You don't come to us by chance or passing, but when you enter you will immediately feel welcomed by the warmth of the atmosphere. We love our country, our mountains in summer and winter. We are not wild downhill skiers, but we will be happy to recommend some beautiful ski mountaineering routes with snowshoes. In summer, there are many options to choose from, from quiet trails to more alpine paths. For us, hosting guests means living in a wonderful place, a little out of the world, but with the world coming to visit us.
The enchanting UNESCO Dolomites surround us, but in just one hour of travel, we can already reach the magical city of Venice. This location is perfect for hiking enthusiasts of every level, for climbing enthusiasts and, during the winter, for those who love ski mountaineering, snowshoeing trips and skiing on the slopes in the Civetta Dolomiti Super Ski area (which is only 13 km away).
