My name is Alessandro and I am a passionate osteopath who loves to explore the world. Together with my daughter Claudia, we have made the decision to welcome guests into our home, individuals who, like us, love art, traveling, discovering new places, and meeting new people. We offer a 24-hour reception service, and upon request, for an additional fee, guests can avail of shuttle service from the train station or airport.
Area city center
The road where our accommodation is located once hosted an ancient lake, formed in 496 AD due to an eruption of Mount Etna that changed the course of the Amanano River. The lake had a circumference of approximately 6 kilometers and a depth of around 6 meters. This lake remained until 1669, when one of Mount Etna's most catastrophic eruptions destroyed several towns near Catania, filling the lake and the surrounding valley in just a few hours. Naval regattas also took place on the lake's waters. Fortunately, there is a convenient public bus stop right below our house, and the "Stesicoro" subway stop is only 10 minutes away.
