The name, B&B of Wonders, comes from the Meraviglia Arch, located near our property. This arch was named in honor of a Bari family originally from Milan. You can access it from the Filioli, Zonnelli, San Gaetano, and Vico del Lauro streets. The arch connects the ancient houses of the Meraviglia family. Legend has it that it was built in just one night, so much so that its presence caused wonder in the morning.
The picturesque historic center of Bari is located on a small peninsula, where you can admire the enchanting medieval urban layout, along with the ancient Byzantine and Norman buildings, and the marvelous Romanesque-style buildings, such as the famous Basilica of San Nicola.
Surrounded by the suggestive monuments of Bari Vecchia, our B&B will pamper you during your vacation, surrounded on one side by the modern port and on the other by the old port. Here you can enjoy a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. At our cozy B&B of Wonders, you can stay and enjoy a delicious traditional breakfast. As for parking, a paid hourly parking is available just a few meters from the property. However, for those who prefer to use public transportation, a few minutes' walk away is a supervised public parking, where you can safely leave your car and take advantage of the shuttle service offered to comfortably reach your destination.
