Our vacation home belongs to the municipality of San Vito dei Normanni. The cottage is an independent house protected by an alarm, with 90 m² of living space, 1.800 m² of fenced property, terrace, garden, and a flat roof with a rooftop terrace. So you can enjoy absolute peace and privacy! 4 people can be accommodated in 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 dining room, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom.
It was completely renovated in 2011 and 2018. Brindisi airport is about half an hour's drive away, the beautiful city of Bari and the airport are about 1 and a half hours' drive away.
DAYTIME AREA AND GARDEN
Our Cottage has 2 bedrooms with double beds and seating areas and can therefore accommodate 4 people. An extra bed for small children is also available. You also have a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy dining room, a cozy living room, and a modern bathroom with bidet. A washing machine is also available.
Start the sunny day with a delicious breakfast on the partially covered terrace. Embedded in a beautiful green outdoor space, our large garden kitchen is a real gem! Here you can prepare delicious delicacies and spend a romantic evening with your loved ones. A barbecue, gas stove, sink, Wi-Fi connection, and TV, as well as doors and windows protected by mosquito nets, are available. Outside you will also find a separate shower with cold water, as well as a separate toilet with a sink. Equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans.
EQUIPMENT AND SERVICE
Inside our cottage, we offer numerous services for an unforgettable and enjoyable vacation. The house is fully equipped. Towels, hairdryers, and bed linen are provided. All you have to do is enjoy your vacation. After departure, the house will be cleaned by our staff, as well as towels and bed linen. In the kitchen, you will also find pots, pans, dishes, kitchen utensils, cutlery, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dish towels, and an iron/ironing board.
You can safely park in the private parking lot in front of the house.
LOCATION AND DISTANCE
The Cottage belongs to the municipality of San Vito dei Normanni, a small Salento municipality, about 9 km from the Adriatic coast and has a lot to offer in terms of culture and cuisine. In addition to the medieval historic center with its churches, it offers a weekly market with regional typical products such as cheese, olives, or pasta.
Distance from Brindisi airport is about half an hour's drive away, Bari is about 1 and a half hours' drive away. Shops, supermarkets, doctors, or an ATM can be found in nearby San Vito die Normanni (a few minutes' drive away). It is about 6 km from the beach/sea.
CLIMATE AND TRAVEL TIME
Puglia is warm and sunny in the spring with temperatures in April around 20°C. Summer lasts from May to late September, with temperatures reaching 30°C and more in July and August. Rain is rare in Puglia, and the sea warms up wonderfully to 25°C. It stays warm until autumn, and only in December does the temperature drop below 20°C. Winter months remain mild with temperatures between 12°C and 15°C but it can rain here and there.
PUGLIA
From the Gargano on the spur of the Italian boot, Puglia stretches along the Adriatic and Ionian seas to the heel of the boot. Shining sun and crystal-clear water are thanks to the long summer and over 800 km of coastline. It's almost a shame to spend only the holidays on the beach! Active cycling or hiking holidays, horse riding and/or cultural trips to the city are just as possible as shopping tours in small boutiques or outlets: Puglia offers the right place for every vacation wish.
