This coast, which is approximately 2 km long, is closed to vehicle traffic, but you can reach it by leaving your car in one of the two free parking lots and taking a cute train, which is also free.
A few kilometers away, you can reach the Monte Cofano Reserve. The Zingaro Reserve, which is a must-see destination, is a 20-minute drive away. Erice, a small ancient village where you can taste typical sweets and admire breathtaking views, can also be reached by cable car. Trapani, apart from the city center, you can visit the salt mines by going in the direction of Marsala. From Trapani, you can reach the Egadi islands, including Favignana. Going towards Palermo, we can see Scopello, Castellammare, and Segesta, all in just over an hour.
