Agriturismo Cerrolungo
Agriturismo Cerrolungo was born from the shared dream of Maddalena, Valeria, Letizia, Federica, and Elisa, five women connected by their love for the land and their desire to rediscover its rhythms and seasons. Nestled in the serene countryside of Liguria, Cerrolungo provides a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, where each morning, you will be greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and wood-fired bread. Breakfast is a special occasion, enjoyed on the porch with a view of the vineyards or in the garden, beneath the shade of olive and fruit trees, accompanied by the homemade artisanal jams.
The property features Villa Maddalena, which includes three spacious double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a panoramic terrace overlooking the vineyards, as well as three independent double rooms with private bathrooms. The spaces have been meticulously restored, maintaining the authenticity of the original furnishings and finishes, to provide comfortable and tastefully decorated areas. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the property and, upon request, participate in lunches, dinners, and aperitifs.
At the heart of the agriturismo is the tasting room, where the wines of Cerrolungo come to life thanks to a passion for viticulture. With around 11 hectares of vineyards cultivated on terraces descending into the valley, the estate emphasizes the unique qualities of the sandy soil and its proximity to the sea, blending tradition and innovation to produce high-quality wines. Among the cultivated grape varieties, Vermentino and Albarola stand out as symbols of Ligurian tradition, along with the RuZZese, an indigenous variety from the eastern region, as well as classic reds like Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, and Canaiolo.
In addition to wines, the estate produces a limited quantity of jams and preserves, made from seasonal fruits harvested from the gardens of Cerrolungo.
Breakfast at Cerrolungo is a time that encourages tranquility and the enjoyment of authentic flavors, designed to help you start your day in a special way. It is served in the spacious porch overlooking the vineyards or, when the weather permits, in the garden surrounded by olive trees and fruit plants. Guests can savor freshly baked bread from the traditional wood-fired oven, accompanied by homemade jams and preserves that capture the true taste of seasonal fruits. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the variety of fresh, local products make breakfast a relaxing and genuine experience, perfect for immersing oneself in the beauty of the Ligurian countryside.
The cuisine at Cerrolungo is a true representation of Ligurian and Mediterranean traditions, featuring the fragrances of fresh herbs and a selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables, mostly sourced locally.
One of Cerrolungo's pride points is its natural wines, both white and red, which enhance every meal with a distinct flavor. Here, you can also find fruits, vegetables, olive oil, honey, and jams, all available for you to taste on-site and purchase.
Additionally, Cerrolungo provides the opportunity to participate in tastings of oil and wine, along with tours of the winery, cooking workshops, and walks through the vineyards, offering an unforgettable experience amidst the beauty of nature.
