Sannazzaro Castle is a historic home inhabited by the owners, descendants of those who founded the castle about 900 years ago. Here you can immerse yourself in a magical world, welcomed as friends for moments of relaxation, well-being, and discovery of history. We have 4 double rooms with private bathroom and 2 double rooms with shared bathroom, furnished with antique furniture and objects. All rooms are inside the castle and accessed from the internal courtyard.

Breakfast will be served in a room in the medioeval wing of the castle, named “Office grande” facing the inner courtyard, decorated with a wooden roof, furniture, object and porcelain of the family collection from 16th to 20th century. Breakfast will be served between 8:00 am and 9:30 am unless otherwise agreed with the owners.

The Sannazzaro Castle in Giarole Monferrato is a historic home that has been owned by the same family since its founding on December 4th, 1163. Today, Giuseppe and Letizia Sannazzaro still live here and run a B&B, guided tours, events and a farm. We welcome you and will host you just like we have hosted Kings and Emperors. This is the perfect place to discover the lesser-known beauty of Monferrato, its hills, castles, wineries, Casale Monferrato, the Crea Sanctuary and much more. And it's just an hour's drive or train ride from Milan, Turin and Genoa.
