The "Casetta del Marinaio" is a charming and unique independent B&B located in the beautiful medieval fishing village of Camogli. This cozy accommodation consists of an open space area with a living room/dining room/main bedroom equipped with a kitchenette, where you will find breakfast for your first morning. At your disposal, you will also find a refrigerator, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a coffee machine, and a dishwasher. However, an oven or stove is not available, as cooking is not allowed in a B&B. The second room is equipped with bunk beds that can be left or stored depending on your needs, and this room leads to the bathroom.
Outside, you will find a private patio with a table and chairs, ideal for enjoying spectacular and unforgettable sunrises and sunsets. The decoration and atmosphere of the "Sailor's Cottage" reflect our years of work on cruise ships and our travels around the world.. a true blend between us and the ocean we love, visible from the Cottage and the outdoor terrace.
We want our guests to feel at home, and we can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. We, the hosting family, live in the apartment upstairs and are therefore available to assist you. We look forward to welcoming you!
We are a close-knit couple of Italian and English origin who met while working on cruise ships. Ruggiero is a machinist officer and Becci is in charge of crew training. After traveling and working in shipyards where our beloved ships were built, after countless moves and an infinite amount of boxes, packages, and souvenirs collected from around the world, we decided to settle in the country where Ruggiero grew up, to raise our family. Camogli is a special place for us, the playground of our children, a charming medieval village that we never tire of admiring in every corner, with the sea and mountain walks, offering us the opportunity to enjoy tranquility without straying too far from the most beautiful places in Liguria and the surrounding regions. It is here, in our new home, that we got married, will raise our children, and will try to welcome all those who wish to visit these areas, hoping that they fall in love as much as we do every time we admire our panorama!
The charming "Casetta del Marinaio" is located in an ideal position, just a short distance from all local amenities, including the city center, the local beach, and the train station. Near the bottom of the private staircase, you will find a convenient supermarket and a bus stop. Outside our cozy B&B, guests can enjoy a delightful private outdoor space, equipped with a table and chairs to enjoy a meal or simply relax.
