Cascina di Mezzo
Cascina di Mezzo is a farm located in the heart of the South Milan Agricultural Park, renovated in the late 80s while preserving the traditional Lombard setting.
Since 1993, the Pirola family - grandparents, children, and grandchildren - has been working on the farm to offer the opportunity to savor the flavors and hospitality of the most genuine Lombard tradition, ensuring a high standard of quality both in service and products.
With a simple and comfortable taste, there are 5 accommodations available for guests. The studios - one of which does not have a kitchen - have been created from the old farmhouses, respecting the existing structures. Each accommodation is equipped with a bathroom with shower, heating, Wi-Fi (upon request), and TV.
The restaurant, originally an ancient barn with a spacious veranda, is the perfect place for romantic dinners, business lunches, receptions, parties, and ceremonies. Our menu adapts to the seasons: everything you will find on your tables is produced directly on our premises.
In our workshop, you will find a variety of products, such as canned meats, fruits and vegetables, jams and preserves for desserts, cheeses, cookies, and fresh pasta. Additionally, you will find original gift ideas and ready-made dishes to enjoy our specialties at home.
Our property is also suitable for hosting business meetings or corporate events. Our spaces allow companies to organize meetings or training days in a relaxing environment, surrounded by nature and tranquility. During coffee breaks, we offer homemade cakes and cookies, fruit juices, pizzas, and hot sandwiches.
Lunch or dinner can be organized according to your needs. Each request is evaluated and developed in collaboration with the event manager. Furthermore, we are able to provide audio/video equipment, if necessary.
Ensuring the quality and authenticity of the food we offer to our customers is a fundamental priority for the Pirola family. Most of the food you will find in our restaurant or store is produced directly on our farm: meats, cold cuts, fruits and vegetables, bread, pasta, jams, and desserts.
Our company extends over an area of approximately 35 hectares of agricultural land and has a mill for grinding flour and an internal slaughterhouse. Our cattle, pigs, and poultry such as chickens, hens, ducks, rabbits, turkeys, and geese are exclusively fed with the products from our crops.
