Located on the border between Liguria and Piedmont, in a strategic position between Milan and Genoa (just 3 km from the A7 Milan/Genoa motorway) and only 10 km from the hills of the famous "Gavi DOC" wine, here is the wonderful "Cascina delle Signore", an old farmhouse from the 1700s immersed in the green countryside, full of charm and with large, quiet rooms and relaxation areas dedicated to guests.
The structure has maintained all its splendor, respecting the architecture and details of the ancient Piedmontese houses of the 1700s. On the ground floor you will find a large kitchen equipped with a table and a spacious living room with TV. The spacious rooms, located on the first floor and attic, are tastefully furnished and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The two bathrooms, although not inside the rooms, are located on the first floor.
Guests can enjoy a barbecue, relaxation areas furnished with sofas and armchairs, a table for lunch in the shade of a large porch, a small pool with umbrellas and sunbeds, a football field and a ping pong table, as well as TV, board games and free Wi-Fi.
There are many tourist itineraries available to organize your stay and discover the features of the place. In addition, there are also motorcycle and bicycle routes. Spaces for storing bicycles and motorcycles are available at the property.
It is possible to organize tastings in the best wineries of "Gavi" wine and Langhe and Roero. In addition, for the little ones, "La casetta dei bambini" is available, a small house with games, costumes, books and drawing materials.
In our establishment, you can enjoy a delicious "Italian-style" buffet breakfast. If you wish, you can request various hot drinks such as milk, coffee, chocolate, and tea. The room is well illuminated by three windows that overlook the farmyard and the surrounding fields; it is furnished with a double bed (180cmx200cm), wardrobe, antique dresser, bedside tables, desk and a small fireplace. The bathroom, for the exclusive use of the room, is located on the same floor.
Luisetta Room The airy and spacious room (20 m2), well illuminated by three windows that overlook the surrounding fields and the hill at the back, is furnished with two single beds (100cmx200cm), a wardrobe, a drop-leaf dresser, bedside tables, armchair and a dressing table. The bathroom, for the exclusive use of the room, is located on the same floor.
Giuseppina Room The airy and spacious room (20 mq), is in the attic, at second floor. The room is well illuminated by three windows that overlook the farmyard and the surrounding fields, and is furnished with a double bed (180cmx200cm), a dresser, a wardrobe, antique bedside tables and a desk. The interior walls are made of stone, the floor is wooden and the ceiling beams are visible. Bathroom available annexed to the guestroom is placed downstairs and it is shared.
The Elena room is the latest arrival in our structure, consisting of two communicating rooms, with a newly built en-suite bathroom. Located on the second floor, reachable by two flights of stairs. The room opens onto the single room, recently renovated, overlooking the surrounding fields and the hamlet of Variano Inferiore. The main bedroom is in stone with a large double bed and 3 windows overlooking the surrounding fields and the hill that surrounds the house.
