Our B&B is located in the Piedmont region in Saliceto (Cuneo) in the Alta Langa. The establishment offers only three rooms (Fiordaliso, Ginestra, and Lavanda) and is completely surrounded by nature. There are no other houses nearby, and the last 500 meters to reach us are on a dirt road, as it is a country road. Relaxing as a couple or with the family at Cascina Boschetto will not be difficult at all. We are situated in the town of Saliceto (CN) in the Alta Langa, about 50 km from Alba and the most renowned UNESCO heritage sites (Barolo, Barbaresco, La Morra, Grinzane Cavour), and, above all, we are only about 40 km from the Ligurian Sea (Noli, Varigotti, and Finale Ligure). Saliceto has a medieval old town, the castle of the Marquise di Carretto, 15th-century frescoes, and the Church of San Lorenzo, all worthy of a visit. In addition, in Saliceto itself, you will find Le Langhette, a place that produces goat and sheep cheeses, among other things! You will be welcomed with simplicity and authenticity. Within a radius of 15/30 km, you will find the municipalities of Monesiglio, Prunetto, Gorzegno, and Bergolo, which lead to Cortemilia, the homeland of the round and delicate hazelnut. From us, it is also easy to reach Murazzano, where you will find the Safari Park, Bossolasco, with its characteristic Via delle Rose, Sale San Giovanni, which offers walking or cycling paths through lavender fields and other medicinal herbs (melissa, sage) from late May to mid-July. Mombarcaro, on the other hand, is the highest peak of the Langhe, at 896 m above sea level. In one hour, you can reach Savona, where you can taste "farinata" and "panissa", and then continue to Genoa, where you can visit the Aquarium, but above all explore its famous narrow alleys ("carruggi"). We are right between the hills of the Langhe and the sea, so staying with us for just one night would be a real shame! We look forward to welcoming you! Marta and family.
