Our tourist facility is located in the picturesque village of Montericco di Albinea, in the province of Reggio Emilia. It is situated near the charming medieval castle of Montericco, from which you can admire the wonderful view of the Po Valley and, on clear days, the majestic Alps can be clearly seen.
Just 2 km from the town center, our vacation home is located on Castellana Street, at number 40, just 15 minutes away from the city center of Reggio Emilia.
The structure, a carefully renovated ancient building, offers a simple yet fascinating atmosphere. On the first floor, you will find a cozy living room with a fireplace and a sofa bed, a spacious kitchen, and an entrance. On the second floor, you will find a bathroom with a shower box and a bedroom with a comfortable double bed. Additionally, we have a spacious cellar where you can securely park your bicycles or motorcycles, and a free parking lot for cars.
Although we do not have a traditional garden, being located within the ancient castle walls, just a few steps from the structure you will find a charming orchard owned by us, equipped with comfortable deck chairs, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the place. The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for nature excursions, both by bike and on foot, starting directly from the village. Additionally, we offer you the opportunity to visit our family Acetaia, where you can taste our delicious products.
Please note that pets are not allowed and smoking is prohibited inside the premises.
The breakfast service is offered at a rate of 15 euros per person per day. You can indulge in a delightful breakfast every morning from 7 to 9, consisting of fruit juice, milk, croissants with jam, Nutella or honey, homemade cakes, and toast. A basket will be delivered to your doorstep, as agreed upon.

Hello, I live very close to the Vacation House and I have been managing this property for two years. I am extremely satisfied because my guests tell me that they really enjoy staying here. I like to engage with them in order to constantly improve myself, both in positive and negative aspects. I speak English, although sometimes I may encounter some difficulties as I want to simplify my guests' lives, not complicate them. My main activity is managing the family vinegar factory. For three generations, we have been producing Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO and balsamic condiments. I am truly happy and feel lucky to live in Montericco, in Emilia Romagna, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, delicious dishes, and a rich culture. I love simple things and I believe that it is in the details that the difference is made.
