In the heart of Versilia, embraced by hills, "Casa Penelope" is the perfect Bed and Breakfast for a relaxing and carefree vacation. Our guests will find themselves in a typical Tuscan cottage where they can breathe a tranquil and almost bucolic atmosphere. Surrounded by nature, they will have access to a spacious and welcoming veranda and garden, perfect for reading a book, resting under the sun, or refreshing with a swim in the pool.
The rooms have a unique and elegant style, with artisanal, antique, and high-quality furnishings. They are all very spacious and equipped with heating and air conditioning systems, a private bathroom with sink, bidet, shower, and/or bathtub. Additionally, our clients can enjoy free Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, linens, hand sanitizer, and complimentary toiletries.
Cleaning is carried out daily in both the rooms and common areas, following the guidelines and protocols of the World Health Organization and Federalberghi, using certified products and with particular attention to the safety of ourselves and our guests.

The scent of coffee, toasted bread, and freshly baked cake: these are the essential ingredients for a sweet awakening. In fact, our continental breakfast offers pastries, cookies, bread, and croissants to be enjoyed with butter, jam, or Nutella. If you prefer fresh and light options, there will also be yogurt, fruit, and cereals. And of course, eggs and cold cuts for those who prefer savory!
All of this can be enjoyed with a refreshing orange juice or with a cappuccino, hot tea, or fresh juices.

La Antica is a double room with a big bathroom where you can have both a shower or a bath in a classic style bathtub, indeed the room's name comes from some ancient-classical elements of the furnitures. In this smart chamber you'll feel romantic vibes, like in a fairytale.
"Il Soppalco" is a large quadruple room that perfectly fits to a four people family, two adults and two children. It has a king size bed and a small double, wich is located on a chestnut wood structure, from which the room takes its name. With its ensuite bathroom and a small entrance. "Il Soppalco" is a large accomodation organised like a tiny apartment.
La Torre is an Executive Suite made of two double room with King size beds, a big bathroom and small living room with a large window overlooking the hills. The Suite is located in the second floor, high like a tower, for this reason it's called "La Torre".
I, Megha, will be there to welcome you. I am a mother and a student at the Foreign Languages and Literatures department at the University of Pisa. I started working in the hospitality sector in 2014, renting out the entire property as a vacation home. After gaining experience working in a four-star hotel, I realized that I love meeting people from all over the world. That's why I decided to transform the house into a family-run bed-and-breakfast, which will come to life for the summer season of 2021. I'm looking forward to welcoming new guests and offering them our best services!
Stiava, the little village where our facility is located, is a small part of the municipality of Massarosa and has all the necessary services. Within a few meters, you can find: a pharmacy, a gas station, an ATM, a post office, a tobacco shop, a newsstand, a mini-market, a bakery, a pastry shop, a laundry, a bar, a pizzeria, an ice cream shop, clothing stores, and gift shops.
