At a short distance, you will find the picturesque seaside villages of Sperlonga and Gaeta, as well as the charming medieval village of Itri, with their fascinating historic centers and breathtaking natural landscapes. Worth a visit are the Angioino-Aragonese Castle and the Montagna Spaccata, which are part of the natural oasis of Monte Orlando Park in Gaeta; the Tiberius Cave and the Archaeological Museum, along with the WWF marine oasis in Sperlonga; the Medieval Castle and the entire historic center of Itri. The region also offers the opportunity for excursions along the trails of the Aurunci Mountains Natural Park, where you can spend a day surrounded by greenery in the numerous equipped areas. Just 20 minutes away is the Wood-Park adventure park, with thrilling paths that wind through the surrounding valley. Venturing a bit inland (about 10 minutes), you will find the delightful village of Campodimele, famous for the longevity of its inhabitants, where you can enjoy the coolness of summer evenings in a fairytale atmosphere. For a day trip, we suggest a visit to the Circeo-Sabaudia National Park (about 40 km) and the islands of Ponza and Ventotene, reachable by boarding at the port of Formia (15 km away). With about an hour train ride, you can reach Naples and Rome.
