Casa Luce
Casa Luce is a dream place with all-round views over the hills and the sea in the De Marken region. In 2019 we discovered this white (light) house on the hill just three kilometers from the sea. The location was the deciding factor: the views were breathtaking. The sea, the hills with olive trees and sunflowers and the Sibilini mountains. Capturing it in a photo is not possible, you have to experience it.
The house is modernly furnished and has a lot of light. The house offers 16 sleeping places in two apartments. The apartment upstairs has 3 double and 1 triple bedroom, all with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. The studio on the ground floor has two double bedrooms and a double sofa bed. The bathroom in the studio has a large bath and large walk-in rain shower. Extra beds are possible in both apartments.
A very beautiful infinity pool will be built in the spring of 2023. In the garden you will find various places to sit quietly and adjacent to the garden we have been planting edible trees, shrubs and plants since 2019 to create a food garden.

The kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator, a dishwasher, an oven, a gas stove, and various kitchen appliances. There is also a Nespresso machine for coffee and tea, a milk frother, and an ice maker. A washing machine and dryer are available. The apartment has a large television and a fireplace. Meals can be enjoyed at the large table inside or outside on the terrace. There is also a lounge set, an egg chair, and a hammock available. The pool is located next to the terrace.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, and bidet. The central area features a kitchen with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, and is equipped with cooking utensils and tableware for 10 people. The apartment has a large terrace at the front, a balcony, and the garden offers various seating areas, sun loungers, and a large shaded dining table with BBQ facilities. You can pick fresh vegetables, herbs, fruits, and nuts from our vegetable garden and the adjacent food forest. From the garden, you have a 360-degree view of the sea, the city of Fermo, and the Sibillini Mountains in the hinterland. The sea is only 3 kilometers away from Casa Luce in Torre di Palme.
The Le Marche region stretches for about 170 kilometers along the Adriatic coast with beautiful beaches and boulevards full of palm trees. The rolling hills of the interior are rich in agricultural land and sparsely dotted with market towns and picturesque mountain villages. Inland you will find beautiful cities such as Macerata, known for its fantastic open-air opera. The towns of Ascoli Piceno and Fermo are also worth a visit. Here you will find the beautiful old squares with cozy bars and restaurants. In addition, there are many churches and other old buildings and museums. ?Le Marche is a less well-known province than Umbria and Tuscany, which are situated at the same altitude. It is therefore the 'best kept secret' of Italy. Le Marche is sandwiched between the Adriatic coast and the mountain ranges of the Apennines. Le Marche actually has everything to offer: sea and beach, but also beautiful mountain villages and even its own ski areas. It is reminiscent of the famous Tuscany, but it is much less touristy and an area where many Italians go on holiday themselves.
The beautiful well-preserved medieval village of Torre di Palme is one of the most interesting historical centers in the area. The balcony terrace has a panoramic view over the coastline of the Marches. The castle village rises on top of a hill surrounded by walls and a beautiful gateway. The narrow narrow streets with terracotta facades covered with geraniums provide panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding hills.
Down the hill from Casa Luce, just 5 minutes by car you are on the boulevard of Porto San Giorgio. A kilometer-long boulevard with palm trees and cozy restaurants, where you can enjoy delicious Italian aperitivo, lunch and romantic dinners. Here you can still park on the boulevard. Almost every beach bar has changing cabins, showers and a playground for the children. In the many (fish) restaurants you can enjoy the culinary delights, your feet in the sand with the children in sight. Where else can you find that in Europe?
