Located in the peaceful village of San Pietro in Campo, just a few steps from Barga, our farmhouse was built in 1878, as indicated by the date engraved on the stone of the old oven, where our family used to bake bread. We have recently renovated the farmhouse, keeping the original furnishings intact, which were mostly made by our ancestors. The name "Casale I Girasoli" is linked to our passion for the land, nature, and agricultural work, a passion that we hope to share with you during a relaxing and peaceful vacation, in close contact with nature! The farmhouse is located in the heart of the Mediavalle, on the doorstep of the Garfagnana, a short distance from Barga, Castelvecchio Pascoli, Castelnuovo Garfagnana, and Lucca. It is surrounded by a beautiful park with a vineyard, a vegetable garden with various crops, and an orchard where you can pick apples, cherries, pears, and peaches. The pool, measuring 10.50x5.50 meters, is located in the wonderful garden and is equipped with a jacuzzi and shower. The wood-fired oven, barbecue, and various equipped gazebos are freely available to guests. Upon reservation, we offer lunches and dinners prepared with typical products such as spelt, mushrooms, chestnuts, vegetables from our garden, and fruit tarts. Guests also have access to a free internet station to send or receive emails or simply browse the web. In autumn and winter, we will be happy to host you even just for a weekend!
