This ground-floor apartment is situated in a small building nestled in a quiet area, just a short walk from the countryside and only ten minutes on foot from the town center. The accommodation provides a warm and relaxing atmosphere, featuring a garden accessible directly from the bedroom and a small terrace connected to the kitchen, where guests can enjoy sipping a nice glass of Chianti.
Upon arrival, guests are required to pay a tourist tax of €1.50 per person per night during the low season and €2 during the high season, applicable for a maximum of 7 nights. Greve in Chianti is easily reachable by both car and public transport from Florence. Those arriving by bus will be greeted directly at the bus stop. The day before the stay, the arrival time will be arranged for a personalized welcome from the hostess, Maria Grazia.
The apartment is tastefully furnished and enhanced by paintings and decorations created by Maria Grazia herself, who is passionate about painting, aiming to add a splash of color and creativity to the surroundings. For those interested in artistic activities, it is possible to book courses in mixed techniques, quadraturism, fresco, and sgraffito at the local Art Workshop and Studio.
The Chianti region, with its agricultural and hilly landscape, offers beautiful scenery in every season. Walking enthusiasts can explore charming villages like Montefioralle and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. There are plenty of opportunities to participate in farm tastings, traditional lunches, and dinners. Those traveling by car can easily discover some of the most beautiful locations in Tuscany, including Siena, Castellina, Panzano, Radda, Gaiole, Colle di Val d’Elsa, San Gimignano, and Volterra.
The main square of Greve, dominated by the statue of Giovanni da Verrazzano, boasts a wide selection of restaurants, bars, pastry shops, and stores that will make the stay even more enjoyable.
